The film is about The Panky, a rock band made up of lead singer Ipank, drummer Ozi, guitarist Eric and keyboardist Joy. The band’s fame is waning, so its manager tries to find a way to revive its former glory. His solution? Get the funkily dressed band to collaborate with a one-time king of Melayu music named Munanada — and they do at least try to although, from a musical perspective, the two genres are innately different.
